Dave Fischer for Campbell County Commissioner

About Dave Fischer

Dave Fischer for Campbell County Commissioner – District 1

Republican Primary — Vote May 19

Meet Dave Fischer

Dave Fischer is running for Campbell County Commissioner, District 1.

A lifelong Campbell County resident and 30-year small business owner, Dave is committed to ensuring that Campbell County is governed as an inclusive community — not an exclusive club.

Dave believes county government should work for everyone through transparency, accountability, and responsible leadership.

Transparency & Fairness

Dave will work to make Campbell County government more transparent and inclusive. He will push for accountability and clarity in county expenditures — not simply spending money because it is available.

Dave has already demonstrated his commitment to fairness by helping put an end to electioneering practices that were occurring in Campbell County.

Responsible Taxes & Fiscal Stewardship

As a commissioner — and as an owner of multiple properties in Campbell County — Dave will work to stop property owners from being taxed twice:

  • Once through PVA assessment increases

  • Again through Fiscal Court tax increases

Historically, the maximum 4% tax increase has been approved year after year. Over the past decade, these increases have compounded to the point that Campbell County is now the highest-taxed county in Kentucky.

Dave has a vested interest in keeping taxes manageable without cutting services and will serve as a responsible steward of county funds.

Dave’s first vote will not be to raise taxes.

New Ideas & Collaboration

Dave believes in solving problems — not settling for the status quo.

He is asking important questions such as:

  • Why are there no county-sponsored swim lessons?

  • Why are there no splash pads?

  • Why is there no boat ramp in South Campbell County?

Rather than accepting obstacles, Dave believes the county should work together to overcome them. As commissioner, Dave will collaborate with all 16 cities to ensure Campbell County is the best place to live, work, and raise a family.

Leadership Without the Comfort Zone

Dave will not govern from a “comfort zone.”

As the former Vice Chair of the Campbell County Republican Party, Dave ensured everyone had a voice and was never afraid to rock the boat when necessary for the greater good.

Dave is asking for your vote to continue that legacy of principled leadership.

Community, Family, and Conservative Values

Dave has devoted much of his life to serving Campbell County and its people.

  • Graduate of Eastern Kentucky University

  • Runs multiple successful small businesses

  • Former Vice Chair of the Campbell County Republican Party

  • Former Chair of Candidate Recruitment for the CCRP

  • Helped attract hundreds of new Republicans throughout the county

Dave places a strong emphasis on family, faith, and community. He is proudly pro-life and pro–Second Amendment, and believes conservative values and economic growth go hand in hand.

Dave is also committed to expanding retiree programs, honoring the generations who helped build Campbell County.

Dave is a member of the Northern Kentucky Hall of Fame for Football and Highlands.
